With an objective to strengthen its weakening position in Indian car market domestic car maker Tata Motors has adopted an aggressive strategy to launch new products in Indian car market. After successful launch of the Bolt hatchback and upgraded version of Nano as Nano GenX earlier this year, company is all set to make its debut in electronic segment of cars. Codenamed as Megapixel the electronic car from car maker is expected to be launched during the upcoming festive season. Speculated to be priced about Rs. 4.0 lakh the proposed car has already grabbed attention of car enthusiasts willing to buy an affordable car within their budget. Fuel Efficient Car
Tata Megapixel will be empowered with 13 kWh lithium ion phosphate battery and a 325cc single cylinder petrol engine to power the car. With help of this power option, the Megapixel might deliver 100 kmpl of extraordinary mileage (under battery only power) that will make it outstanding. Also, it will run at the top speed of 110 kmph which is another exciting thing about this electric car.
Inductive Charging System
Tata will be equipped this upcoming car in India with latest technology based features, including an inductive charger to get recharge the battery. Also, it will have a charging level indicator to the rear side of the car that will also make it amazing.
Sliding Doors
Another interesting thing about the upcoming megapixel is that the car will have front and rear sliding doors along with other features like R16 tires, attractive shoulder lines, company badge at the front and many others.
Parking Assist
The Tata Megapixel could be equipped with 2.8m turning radius that will make the car able to take 180 degree of turn, which make it more efficient to park and get exit from congested parking easily.
Human Machine Interface (HMI)
The Megapixel will comprise with advanced technology based HMI interface that will provide control on the car in term of mode of driving, temperature of cabin, ventilation and performance of the car.
