Tata Motors Blaze De Rajasthan Rally flags off today

Jaipur today witnesses’ motorsports venture as Tata Motors flagged off a "Blaze De Rajasthan Rally 2012", which is an off-road event. It is a TDS rally, which is affiliated to the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India. Tata SUVs such as Tata Grande, Tata Safari, Tata Xenon XT along with other SUVs such as Mahindra XUV 500 or any brand SUV can participate in the event and it would be the testing the sand in Rajasthan as well as the might of Tata SUVs. The Tata Motors’ motorsports division has made preparation to make this rally a grand success. The rally flags off today and would conclude on June 10. In the rally, the participants would cover a distance of 300 kms.

There will be three classes in the event including four wheel drive, two wheel drive and also an all women team, which is the third class of event. Thar Motorsports has been providing Tata Motors technical, logistics and medical support for the event. The rally would offer unlimited fun and adventure for young drivers and navigators, including fresher and experienced drivers. They may use their vehicle of any brand to participate in the event. The media report suggests that the event would be full of action and motorsports lover in Jaipur would be able to witness the best drivers and navigators of the country vying with each other to win the competition.

Rajasthan’s geographical area has all the qualities for organizing an adventurous off-road event, as it has hills, sand and city tracks. The Rajasthan terrain will comprise of city tracks, hill sections as well as of sand in the Thar. Thar Motorsports are partners for the even providing skill, medical and logistics support for the expedition. An official said its Tata Motors first one-day off-roading rally and Rajasthan is best place to organize it. Apart from "Blaze de Rajasthan Rally 2012", two more off-roading events are coming up. Motorsports official said Tata Motors Full Throttle will be flagged off from New Delhi on June 22, while Full Throttle trails will also be held soon.
