Tata Motors Delivers 1500th GS800 Safari Storme To The Indian Military
The moment was less than a celebration for the domestic car Tata Motors when it delivered 1500th GS800 (General Safari 800) 4X4 to the Indian Armed Forces on August 25, 2018. The 1500th unit of the Safari Storme was flagged off from company’s production unit located at Pune by Dr. Subhash Bhamre, MoS Defence and Mr. Vernon Noronha, Vice President, Defence and Government Business. Painted in Army green colour, the Safari Storme GS800 is strictly developed to satisfy the various needs of the Indian army. The Safaris developed for Indian army more strong and reliable SUVs that are capable of loading 800 kg weight.

According to reports, the home-grown car is reported to give 3192 units of Safari Storme GS800 to the Indian armed forces, of which the company had so far delivered 1300 units to the forces. The sources of Tata Motors claim that before delivering the SUV to the Indian arm forces, it has tested the vehicle for more than 15 months of different roads throughout the country comprising of on-road and off-road. The vehicle has been specially developed for the Indian armed forces and therefore has tested under varied operational conditions, including high altitude drivers, moving from deserts, snow-prone area and normal roads.

Apart from being embellished various incredible features, the Safari Storme GS800 is also enriched with safety features like powerful fog lamps, jerry can, ABS, recovery hooks, bucket seats, air conditioner, power windows, mobile charging facility and many more. It is capable of offering comfortable seating experience to six passengers without any discomfort.
