Commenting on the partnership, Mr. Shailesh Chandra, President, Electric Mobility, Business and Corporate Strategy, Tata Motors, said, "This is not just the most significant milestone for Tata Motors' e-mobility business, but also a big turning point in the EV market, which is now likely to see fleets electrify faster than ever before,"  On the other side, Mr. Sanjay Krishnan, Founder, Lithium Urban Technologies, said, "The induction of new extended range Tigor EVs (213 km) and future EVs into our portfolio will add further differentiation to our service offerings for passenger services,"  He also added that their group will take the full advantage of this partnership and will try to provide authentic and robust solution to the transportation needs of the customers in the urban areas.

It would be interesting to know that the Tigor EV offers an average of 213 km on a full charge and satisfies the needs of both the individual buyers and the fleet operators. It also qualifies for incentives offered by the Central government under the FAME II scheme.
