Tata Motors getting ready to launch Tiago Sport
Denying the earlier reports of launching the sport version of Bolt hatchback in Indian car market, domestic car maker Tata Motors has announced to launch the sport version of Tiago ahead of Bolt Sport. Prior to this the car maker had showcased the Sport Version of Bolt during the Indian Auto Expo 2016 and reported to launch it by the end of this year. But, now going to the declining sales of Bolt company is not sure that whether sport version of Bolt will succeed in impressing the buyers or not.
Under bonnet Tata Tiago Sport will receive 1.2 litre three cylinder turbocharged engine which is reported to be empowered in upcoming compact SUV Nexon. It is speculated that this engine configuration will generate the power of more than 120 bhp, which is expected to generate in Nexon SUV. After launch in Indian car market Tiago Sport will compete against upcoming Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS and Fiat Punto Abarth.
Besides powerful engine, it is expected that Tiago will be offered with low suspension and strong damping followed by aggressive looks to make it look different from standard Tata Tiago. It would be interested to learn that since its launch Tiago emerged as the best performing car being offered by domestic car maker in current scenario.
