Following the new marketing strategy to encourage the buyers back to the dealership, domestic carmaker Tata Motors is introducing a plethora of new schemes including long term installment schemes extending up to eight years, on-road price financing, and a few more.  Along with this, the carmaker has also decided to offer individual benefits to the warriors fighting against the coronavirus, including the healthcare professionals, doctors, and police officials. According to reports to honor these warriors the company is offering benefits up to Rs. 45,000 on a few of its vehicles including Tiago, Tigor, Nexon, and Harrier.

 

 

In a statement, the sources of the company have stated that the newly introduced benefits like long term installment scheme, on-road price financing, etc will be not offered on the newly introduced hatchback Altroz. However, it is reported that the company’s dealers across the country are interested in negotiating with the price determined for Altroz, moreover doing this will help the carmaker to make substantial profits on its new offering.

 

Under the hood, Tata Altroz is empowered with two engine options of 1.2-liter, a three-cylinder petrol engine, and a 1.5-liter four-cylinder diesel engine. In the Indian car market, it has been launched to go against the likes of Hyundai i20, Toyota Glanza, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, and Honda Jazz. It would be interesting to know that going through the implementation of BS6 norms, the i20 is offered only in a petrol variant, whereas the Baleno and Glanza have been upgraded according to new emission norms, while the Japanese carmaker company Honda Motors is undergoing the process of upgrading the Jazz hatchback.
