Tata Motors succeeds in retaining its position in Indian auto market
Home grown auto making company Tata Motors has succeeded in selling out 88, 881 units of its vehicle in global market including sale of Jaguar Land Rover, known as its subsidiary company. According to sales statistics revealed by company the sale of commercial vehicles sold by both Tata and Tata Daewoo counted around 38, 067. It would be important to mention that Tata is one of the leading manufacturers of commercial vehicles in Indian auto market as it can also be witnessed from cumulative wholesale of commercial vehicle which marks the number of 2,75, 274.
Apart from this company also sold out 50, 814 passenger vehicles during last month which is an impressive figure in current scenario when Indian auto market is witnessing decline in sales. The cumulative sales figure of passenger vehicles during the financial year counted to 3,17, 494 which seems to be a decent figure.
It would be interested to know that global sale of Jaguar Land Rover registered 36, 157 units during the month of October. During this period 7,066 units of Jaguar were sold out followed by sale of 29,151 units of Land Rover. As it is known that Jaguar and Land Rover are highly acclaimed vehicles in both domestic and international markets. The cumulative sales of both these vehicles counted to 2,28,708 units. The individual cumulative sales of both Land Rover and Jaguar summed up to 1,84, 291 and 29,152 units respectively. All these sales statistics are evidence of the fact that despite of decline in auto market Tata Motors has succeeded in retaining its position.
