Tata Motors To Deliver New Vehicles Covered In “Safety Bubbles”

According to recent reports taking a step ahead towards the guidelines determined by the government for restricting the spread of existing pandemic COVID-19, domestic car maker Tata Motors has started delivering its new vehicles including both cars and SUVs with a special protecting cover christened as “Safety Bubble”. It is said that this bubble work as a shield to protect the car from bacteria and viruses. The company is already adopting all the protective measures like delivering vehicles to customers after undergoing intensive sanitization.

Safety Bubble is a transparent plastic sheet covering the vehicle from all the sides.  The Safety Bubble has developed under the Sanitization Initiative introduced by the Tata Motors this year in August. Under this program, all the vehicles dispatched to the dealerships for delivery have to undergo intensive cleaning and sanitization followed by various measures to restrict the direct physical contact to the vehicle at the time of its delivery. The Tata Safety Bubble can be seen on all the Tata dealerships in the coming days.

Speaking about the upcoming cars from the domestic carmaker, the beginning of this year has been quite busy for Tata Motors as it upgraded all the vehicles under its flagship with the new BS6 compliant engine. Along with this the carmaker also launched the electric version of compact SUV Nexon in the Indian car market and also the Altroz.

The company also had the plans of launching the seven-seater SUV Gravitas this year but has to postpone its launch for the next year due to lockdown and disturbance in the supply of raw material. The SUV has not been slated for the launch during the beginning of the next year. Along with this, the company is also planning to launch the turbo-petrol version of Altroz and a micro SUV codenamed as HBX in 2021.
