Tata Motors to Land New Vehicles in India in Each Segment
Tata Motors, the Indian automaker has displayed some of its upcoming cars at the 2018 Auto Expo such as H5X concept, Tigor JTP, Nexon AMT, etc. which are loaded with advanced features and latest technologies as per demand in the Indian car market . It is expected that most of these vehicles will be launched in India by the end of next year. Here, take an overview about the top upcoming Tata cars in detail:
Tata H5X Concept
Tata Motors showcased the H5X concept at the Auto Expo 2018 which will come under the premium SUV segment, is based on the Land Rover platform. The H5X concept will run on a 2.0-Litre MultiJet turbo engine which churns out the power of 140hp. This premium SUV will be launched with the aggressive looks and comfy features including the slim LED headlamps, stylish front bumper with fog lamps, rear view mirror with turn indicators and many more.
Tata X45X Concept
Tata X45X concept has been revealed in India at the 2018 Auto Expo. The company will launch the car to compete with the Maruti Baleno hatchback. The car will have dynamic design, aggressive looks to attract car lovers and enough space inside the cabin for all its occupants. It is expected that the X45X concept will be launched in India by end of 2019 under price tag of INR 15.0 Lac ex-showroom.
Tata Tiago JTP
Tata Motors presented the Tiago JTP a joint product with the Coimbatore-based Jayem Automotives. The will borrow its powertrain (a 1.2-Litre REVOTRON turbo petrol engine) from the already available Nexon compact SUV. The Tiago JTP will be launched in India with revised front bumper, bigger fog lamps, refurbished bonnet and many others that is making it different from the Tiago hatchback.
Tata Nexon AMT
As per customer’s demand, Tata Motors planned the AMT version of the Nexon and showcased the vehicle at the 2018 Auto Expo. The company will avail the AMT variant in both petrol and diesel model, which will come with a hike of Rs. 50,000 in its current price. The Nexon India comes with a 1.2-Litre petrol and 1.5-Litre diesel engine delivering the mileage (ARAI) of 18.01 km/l and 21.50 km/l, respectively.
Apart from these, Tata Motors is planning to launch the electric version of the Tiago and Tigor for making its presence in the electric vehicles in India.
