With the increasing supply of semiconductor chips, automakers across the country have started increasing their production units. This has helped in improving their sales figures. According to the latest sales statistics revealed by the major carmaker in the country for July 2022, the Indian carmaker Tata Motors and the Japanese carmaker Toyota have for the first time recorded the highest growth on monthly basis for the first time. Other carmakers like Kia, Mahindra, and Skoda also recorded impressive growth in their sales. However, some carmakers are still struggling to witness a hike in their sales.
