Tata Motors Unveils Re-designed Sierra At Indian Auto Expo 2020
The one time famous SUV Sierra by the domestic car maker Tata Motors suddenly disappeared from the market, keeping the auto enthusiasts in a shock. But, understanding the shift of car aspirants towards the SUV segment the carmaker has showcased the redesigned Sierra concept during the ongoing Auto Expo 2020 and launch in the coming years.

The new Tata Sierra is developed on IMPACT 2.0 Design philosophy. The first generation of Sierra had large glass panels covering its sides followed by the panels moving towards the roof. The newly unveiled Sierra although carries the same looks but with contemporary appearance. The glass panels mounted on the side walls now receive a more sleek appearance. The flush door handles further enhance its modern looks, thus making it a perfect combination of neo-retro looks. The enhanced ground clearance gives the SUV a more rugged look like earlier.

The front fascia of the vehicle carries the looks similar to the Tata H2X concept and receives the same grille layout and headlights. The rear portion receives the upfront design and LED tail-light. The Sierra logo at the tailgate is a new addition to the design. Once launched in the Indian car market the next generation of Sierra will go against the likes of Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos. It is believed that Tata Motors may place it above the Nexon and Harrier. As far as the price of Tata Sierra 2020 is concerned it is believed to be priced in the range of Rs. 8 lakh to Rs. 10 lakh. The launch of Sierra will also mark the beginning of 3-door SUVs in the Indian car market.
