Tata Motors witnesses decline of 34 percent in sales

It seems that the trend of slump in sales of cars in Indian car market will continue still in coming future, as according to sales figures revealed by home grown car making Tata Motors witnesses decline of 37% in the month of January 2014 as compared to sales of January 2013. The exports of company declined by 1 percent. Similarly the sales of passenger vehicles also declined by 28 percent.
 
The sales of vehicles for instance Nano, Indica and Indigo witnessed huge decline of 24% as compared to sales of January 2013. Similarly on the other side company’s SUV’s like Sumo. Aria, Venture, Safari recorded decline of 37 percent. Company’s cumulative sales figures including exports during the financial recorded about 4,75,560 units, whereas cumulative sales of passenger vehicles were 1,14,490 units among which number of Nano, Indica, Indigo accounted for 88,400 units.
