Tata Nano CNG officially named E-MAX

Tata Motors, in order to boost the sales figures in domestic market, has recently launched the updated versions for five car models. Apart from this, the company has also offered CNG models for Nano, Indica and Indigo. All these Tata cars will come company fitted CNG Kit and delivers will be started within a period of 90 days. Including these three models, the company has also offered updated version for Sumo Gold and a special edition of the Safari Storme. Updated version of Tata cars (diesel and petrol fuel options) will be made available from July.

The CNG model of the Tata Nano small car is called the E-MAX. It will become about 30000 to 40000 costlier than petrol model. It will also have a 624cc MPFI petrol engine under the hood. The company has updated the small car with Dual gloveboxes, remote keyless entry, four speakers at front, music system with Bluetooth USB, new exterior colours etc. The new Nano slightly appear more premier than outgoing model and it will be giving tough competition to Chevrolet Spark and Maruti Alto 800.

On the other hand, Tata Indica CNG will also be made available from July at company's dealerships across the country. The Indian auto giant has offered the updated version for BS-IV complaint diesel engined model that promise to offer a mileage of 25 kmpl. It comes equipped with a new dual tone interiors and new gearbox based on Smart-shift gear technology. Deliveries of the new Tata Indigo eCS CNG will also commenced from July this year. Its updated version gets new CR4 diesel engine that provides a mileage of 25 kmpl as per ARAI. Along with major cosmetic changes at exteriors and interiors, the version of the compact sedan comes equipped with a new chrome grille, blackened headlamps, chrome strip at the rear, advance suspension system and upgraded F-type gearbox.
