Tata Safari Storme bags 6k bookings
Tata Safari Storme, the new avatar of Tata Motors most sought after SUV Tata Safari is minting money for the car maker. Recently this new invent has bagged over 6k bookings and this is what the car maker has expected. Though things could not turn up well for Tata Nano but it seems that Tata Safari with its new VariCOR 2179cc 140 bhp engine has done the wonder. The Safari Storme price starts at Rs 9.95 lakh and this car preferred over the earlier generation Safari that has a start price of Rs 8.44 lakh. It is believed that this unprecedented success will take Tata Motors further and it will bring some of the best on earth accolades to the car maker.
Experts believe that the car is seen as a prime rival of Mahindra XUV 500 as it is no less in terms of looks as well as power. Both the XUV 5OO and Storme have 140 bhp 2179cc engine diesel engine under the hood. The only difference is that the XUV 5OO has mHawk engine while the Storme has a new invention VariCor engine. Both the engines have similar common rail diesel engine technology. The powerful engine option, besides striking looks and easy availability has made this car a preferred choice over other SUVs in the segment. In addition to this, the launch in a phased manner has also helped the car giant keep the car fresh and in news.
With the looks and features as well as legacy of the Safari and the technology and trusted platform of Tata Aria, the new invent Safari Storme has gained instant popularity and trust of the car buyers. Meanwhile, other car Tata Sumo Gold and Tata Grande are also doing well in the fleet of Tata SUVs.
