Tata Safari Storme GS 800 and Armored showcased
The country’s largest vehicle maker Tata Motors has uncovered new armored / military-spec version of its popular Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) – Tata Safari Storme – at the recently held DEFEXPO India 2012. The new variants of the car showcased at the show include Tata Safari Storme Armored and Tata Safari Storme GS 800.
The Tata Safari Storme GS 800 is a 4 wheel drive equipped vehicle that will be rolled-out in the segment of vehicles that are used as a transportation medium for the army officers be wartime or peacetime. This is an in house designed vehicle of Tata Motors that has been developed after taking into consideration the needs and requirements of the Indian armed forces.

On the other hand, Tata Safari Storme Armored is blessed with state-of-art-technology of the company that has been specially designed for the armed forced to cater the needs of VVIP movements. In order to enhance the loading capacity of the vehicle, the new Tata Safari Storme Armored is loaded with a more powerful chassis as well as a modified suspension system.

Besides these two powerful versions of Tata Safari model, the company had also showcased a range of its combat vehicles including new Micro Bullet Proof Vehicle (MBPV), Tata 12X12 Prahaar Missile Carrier, Tata Mobile Bunker, Tata Light Armored Vehicle and Tata 6X6 7kI Refueler.
