Tata Tiago prices hiked up-to Rs. 8,000
According to recent industry reports domestic car maker Tata Motors has hiked the price of Tiago hatchback between Rs. 6,000 and Rs. 8,000 with immediate effect. The report also speculates that company might again hike prices of Tiago sometimes during the festive season. As reported earlier Tiago has succeeded in receiving an over whelming response from Indian car enthusiasts and has recorded the bookings above 40,000 since its launch with waiting period extending above three months.
From the statistics revealed by car maker there is huge demand of petrol variant by the customers of Tata Tiago. The petrol variant is empowered with 1.2 litre three cylinder Revotron engine that churns the power of 85PS and torque of 114Nm. There is however diesel variant of Tiago also offered in market which adorns 1.05 three cylinder Revotorq engine boosting the power of 70PS and torque of 140Nm. Both the engines are mated with five speed manual gearbox.
