Tata Tiago reaches to its dealers before launch
Home grown car maker Tata Motors is all set to launch its proposed and highly awaited hatchback Tiago in Indian car market strictly on its slated date March 28, 2016 and for this it has dispatched the first consignment of hatchback to its dealers across the country. It is reported that spies have captured un-camouflaged pictures of Tiago parked at showrooms in Goa. Company has already commenced the bookings of Tata Tiago with the down payment of Rs. 10,000 and it is expected that company will start deliveries immediately after launch.

As reported earlier the hatchback will be launched in both petrol and diesel disguises which would be empowered with 1.2 litre three cylinder Revotron petrol engine producing power of 84 bhp and torque of 114Nm followed by 1.0 litre, three cylinder Revotorq diesel engine generating the power of 69 b hp and torque of 140Nm. Both the engines will be mated with five speed manual transmission system, with this it is also speculated that Tiago might be embellished with Multi drive option which is offered in Zest.

According to sources Tiago is said to be an enhanced version of Indica hatchback which has been embellished with some interesting features and upgraded design philosophy. More interestingly the hatchback is not only equipped with improved features and impressive looks but all these features are offered by making use high quality materials. Some contemporary features offered in Tiago are touchscreen infotainment system supporting connectivity with Bluetooth, AUX and USB, navigation system which can be used through MapMyIndia app via smartphone. Other features offered in Tiago are dual front airbags, height adjustable driver seat, ABS, electronic ORVMs and also steering mounted audio control system. These features are however offered in top end variant of Tiago. After launch Tiago will compete with Maruti Suzuki Celerio and Hyundai Grand i10 at strong contenders.
