Tata Tiago: What we know so far
Finally the wait for Tiago hatchback from domestic car maker Tata Motors will come to end tomorrow when it will be launched in Indian car market after lots of speculations and predictions regarding its launch date since the time of its showcase during Indian Auto Expo 2016. The hatchback has been in news during last six months, earlier to be named as Zica, its name was changed to Tiago as an impact of Zika virus in most of the countries during the beginning of this year. Now as the hatchback is going to finally debut tomorrow in India let’s have glimpse so as to vouch the features that have been endorsed by car maker to be offered in Tiago.
Engine: Tiago will be launched in both newly developed petrol and diesel variants. The petrol variant will be enriched with 1.2 litre three cylinder Revotron petrol engine that is capable of producing power of 84 bhp and torque of 114Nm. The diesel variant will be equipped with 1.0 three cylinder Revotorq diesel engine that boosts the power of 69 bhp and torque of 140Nm. Both the engines will be mated with five speed manual transmission system. The hatchback will be offered with driving modes that is Eco and City, both these modes will help in enhancing fuel efficient performance.
Eye catching looks: The new hatchback from domestic car maker has been developed on new design philosophy known as IMPACT and it can be said that car maker has not left any stone unturned to impress the car enthusiasts. Integration of 3D headlamps, sleek and sculpted design and signature hexagonal grille succeed in giving Tiago a distinctive look. Apart from this offering in six passionate colors platinum silver, pearlescent white, sunburst orange, berry red, espresso brown and striker blue are enough to fascinate the buyers at first instance.
Best Entertainment System: As the hatchback is said to be an advanced version of Indica hatchback it will host bunch of qualitative features that will enhance the driving experience of passengers. With an objective to offer complete entertainment to passengers the hatchback will be adorned with Harman Infotainment system supported 4 speakers. With this integration of Juke car app will facilitate the passengers to enjoy their favorite according to their preference while going for long drive.
Contemporary safety features: Interestingly apart from adorning superior features in this hatchback car maker has paid appropriate attention towards the integration of substantial safety features to offer complete safety to occupants.
