Tata Tigor Records the Waiting Period of Two Months
Although the performance of compact sedan Tigor from domestic car maker Tata Motors is yet to be assessed by the car enthusiasts, but according to recent reports launched almost a week ago on March 29, 2017, Tata Tigo has recorded the waiting period of more than two months. The bookings of compact sedan have been already commenced by the car maker before its launch. According to recent reports the hatchback Tiago is also recording the waiting period of a month.

Under the hood, Tigor has been launched in both the petrol and diesel variants. The petrol variant is boosted by Revotron 1.2 litre engine that is capable for generating the power of 83 bhp and torque of 114Nm, while the diesel variant is enriched with 1.05 litre engine that generates the power of 69 bhp and the torque of 140Nm. Both the engines are mated with five speed manual gearbox transmission system and offered with multi-drive option of Eco and City.

Offered with impressive price-tag of Rs. 4.7 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi) the major features offered in Tigor are steering mounted control system, ConnectNext Touchscreen Harman Infotainment system with eight speakers, automatic climate control system, height adjustable driver seat, rear seat armrest with cup-holders, tilt adjustable steering, voice recognition command for phone and media contacts and electronic adjustable ORVMs. It has been launched in overall eight trims namely XE 1.2 P, XT 1.2 P, XZ 1.2 P, XZ (O) 1.2 P, XE 1.05 D, XT 1.05 D, X Z 1.05 D and XZ (O) 1.05 D. The list of its strong contenders include Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire, Honda Amaze and Volkswagen Ameo.
