Tata to launch Zest and Bolt in June this year

 
Domestic car making company Tata Motors is going to launch its highly anticipated hatchback Bolt and sedan Zest sometimes during the month of June this year. Company had showcased both these cars during the Indian Auto Expo 2014 and succeeded in receiving positive response from all segments including audiences, industry experts and critics. Encouraged from this it seems company intends to encash the situation by launching both these vehicles at the earliest in Indian car market and strengthen its weakening position.
 
Both these vehicles will be offered in both petrol and diesel disguises wherein petrol version will be developed on company’s recently generated 1.2 litre Revotron turbocharged intercooled MPFi petrol engine while the diesel trim will be blessed with 1.3 litre Quadrajet diesel engine which is offered used by Italian car maker Fiat in its diesel cars. The petrol engine will generate the power of 84bhp whereas the diesel trim will develop the power of 89 bhp. It would be interested to know that the diesel variant of Zest will be equipped with F-Tronic equipped with five speed automatic transmission system.

Another interesting feature offered in both the upcoming cars includes integration of 5 inch touchscreen HARMAN infotainment system which supports connectivity with Bluetooth and MapmyIndia navigation system making  both these vehicles more advanced than their existing rivals. After launch Bolt will compete against existing dominators like Hyundai Grand i10 and Maruti Swift and others on the other side zest will compete against recently launched Hyundai Xcent, Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire and others.
