Tata To Unveil Tiago JTP And Tigor JTP On October 23, 2018
Finally, by putting a full stop on all the rumors regarding the launch of JTP variants of its best selling vehicles Tigor compact sedan and Tiago hatchback, the domestic car maker has announced to unveil both these vehicles on October 23, 2018. It is also believed that after assessing the response of buyers for these variants the domestic carmaker might also launch the JTP version of compact SUV Nexon, also in the Indian car market by the end of this year. Both the vehicles were showcased by the Tata Motors during the Indian Auto Expo 2018 and are developed in the joint collaboration of Jayem Automotives and Tata Motors.
Under the hood, both the vehicles will be empowered with 1.2 litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine, outsourced from Nexon and with re-tuned power train of 110 bhp and the torque of 150Nm. The transmission duties in both the cars would be performed by five-speed manual gear transmission system and believed to be offered in the price range of Rs. 6 lakh to Rs. 8 lakh. According to industry experts, the launch of these vehicles during the festive season is definitely going to keep the Tata dealers busy.
Talking about the cosmetic updates on the exterior front the JTP variants will be embellished with air intake system on the bonnet, new bumpers, new black front grille with JTP badge, dual exhaust tips, side skirts and fifteen-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and few more. Inside the cabin, it will be equipped with leather upholstery with red stitching, aluminum pedals and red garnished air conditioner vents.
