Tata Zica: Which name suits to it, Tiago or Adore or Civet?

Tata Zica, one of the highly awaited hatchbacks by domestic car maker Tata Motors is speculated to soon debut in Indian car market after a long wait. Earlier reported to be named as Tata Zica which later was taken away by the car maker due to the impact of Zika virus in various developing nations, compelling the car maker to announce the #FantasticoNameHunt for hatchback asking internet users to determine its name from three of the suggested names i.e., Adore, Civet and Tiago. Interestingly these three names were selected by 4.8 crore car lovers from 37,000 names and viewing more than 1.2 crore videos. Now after finalization of these three names car maker has again asked car enthusiasts to assist it in finalizing the final name from these three names to launch hatchback in Indian car market.

Tata Civet
 
Developed on company’s new design philosophy “Impact” the hatchback has been developed with two engine options of 1.2 litre three cylinder petrol and 1.0 litre three cylinder diesel engine boosting the power of 83.8 bhp and 69 bhp respectively followed by torque of 114Nm by petrol version and 140Nm by diesel version. Both the engines will be coated with five speed manual gear transmission system.

Tata Adore
 
It is speculated to be priced Rs. 3.6 lakh onwards and after launch will compete against Maruti Suzuki Celerio, Chevrolet Beat and Hyundai i10.
