The new Hyundai Verna Facelift all set for debut on February 18, 2015
It is reported that finally the Korean car maker Hyundai will take off covers from its highly awaited luxurious sedan facelift Verna on February 18, 2015. The sedan has already made its appearance among car enthusiasts in form of its images leaked on different websites at regular intervals. The bookings for same have been already executed by car maker on the payment varying between Rs. 10, 000 to Rs. 21,000. The car is expected to be offered with price tag falling in range of Rs. 7.30 lakh to Rs. 11.50 lakh.

Talking about the engine configurations facelift Verna would be offered in both petrol and diesel disguises continuing with same engine configurations as offered in outgoing version. The petrol trim would be offered with two engine options of 1.4 litre and 1.6 litre engine in petrol trim and will follow the same pattern in diesel version. The 1.4 litre petrol engine is developed to generate the power of 107 PS followed by torque of 135 Nm, it is endorsed to deliver an average of 17.43 kmpl. On the other side 1.6 litre petrol engine will generate the power of 123 PS and torque of 155 Nm and would be offered two driving options of six speed manual gear transmission system and 4 speed automatic transmission system. Moving ahead the 1.4 litre diesel trim generates the power of 90 PS and torque of 220 Nm and delivers the fuel efficient performance of 24.8 kmpl, whereas the 1.6 litre diesel trim returns the power of 128 PS and torque of 260Nm.
Discussing the new features offered in facelift Verna, this time car maker has promoted it as 4S Fluidic Verna referring to Safety, Speed, Style and Sophistication giving it completely a new design language. On the exteriors it will receive newly developed front grille in wing shape integrating projector headlamps along with newly formed fog lights. On the rear front it will receive new rear bumper, chrome garnished door handles followed by 16 inch diamond alloy wheels. Inside the cabin it will carry most of the features as offered in existing trim followed by some additional features like ABS+EBD, 6 airbags, high defined audio system with 1 GB internal memory. After launch it will compete against Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Volkswagen Vento and Honda City.
