This Christmas promise your family to gift Datsun Go+ on New Year, landing on January 15, 2014
The beginning of New Year 2015 is going to witness some of the awaited launches of the year. The beginning will take place with highly awaited MPV Datsun Go+ by Datsun, the subsidiary of Japanese car maker Nissan. The worth mentioning feature of Go+ MPV would be its price tag which is said to be fall between Rs. 4.5 lakh for entry level variant and which will go high to Rs. 6.0 lakh for the top end variant.
Showcased during Indian Auto Expo 2014, along with its sibling Datsun Go hatchback the MPV would be empowered with 1.2 litre engine and mated with five speed manual gearbox. The MPV carries most of its cues from its sibling hatchback Go. To talk about major features offered are spinal support seats, follow me headlamps, tear drop wipers. The MPV is already on sale in Indonesia. After launch it will compete against recently launched Honda Mobilio, Maruti Ertiga, Nissan Evalia, and Chevrolet Enjoy. One thing which might be of concern for both buyers and car makers is absence of safety feature adorned in Go+, especially after Datsun Go failing in Global NCAP crash test. Alike Go hatchback Go+ also lags presence of airbags and ABS.
