In July the upgraded version of this sedan was introduced in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 7.82 lakh (ex-showroom price, New Delhi). The engine options offered in Fiat Linea are 1.4 litre T-JET petrol engine boosting the power of 112.4 bhp and torque of 207Nm. While the diesel variant empowers 1.3-litre Multijet engine generating the power of 91.7bhp and torque of 209 Nm. The transmission duty in both variants is handed by five speed manual gearbox. Fiat Avventura: Considered as contemporary urban vehicle (CUV) the crossover Avventura by Italian car maker made its debut in Indian car market almost two years back in Indian car market. The petrol trim is energized with 1.4 litre FIRE engine boosting the power of 88.7 bhp and torque of 115Nm, whereas the diesel variant is powered with 1.3 litre Multijet engine with turbocharger. This variant generates the power of 91.7 bhp and torque of 209Nm. Fiat Punto Evo: The Punto Evo hatchback is offered in both petrol and diesel variants with two engine options in petrol and one in diesel variant. As far as its new initiative of Urban Cross is concerned which has been recently launched by company is concerned company has not offered any offers to lure buyers towards it. Promoted as an advanced version of Avventura, the Urban Cross is empowered with 1.4 litre T-Jet motor which generates the power of 142 PS and torque of 210Nm, while the diesel is offered with 1.3 litre Multijet diesel engine that churns the power of 93 PS and torque of 209Nm.
