The Consumer Reports Magazine has made the list of best cars out. The most notable factor is that the American car brands Ford and GM could not secure a place in the top 10 best cars list. Meanwhile, German car makers such as Audi and BMW have secured some prominent positions with Audi A6 considered as the best car in the luxury segment. Furthermore, BMW 328i has become the top sports sedan of this year while Honda Accord becomes the top midsize sedan. With all the craze and volumes it has amassed, Honda CRV has become the top car in the small SUV segment. In the Minivan category it is another Japanese car Honda Odyssey that has secured the top slot.

The Subaru BRZ and the Scion FR-S have comfortably secured the top positions in the sports car segment and this list has yet again proved how German and Japanese cars have outperformed American car brands. This high level of satisfaction in buying these cars has led customers vote more in favor of these cars.

Auto analysts fear that wiping out of Ford and GM in the top list of cars is a cause of worry as this indicates that the two car brands are loosing their popularity in the recent years to other car brands such as Audi, Honda and others.
