Top Electric Cars to be showcased in India at the Auto Expo 2018
As per the concern of electric cars in India, the auto manufacturers are focusing on developing their engineering masterpieces with latest technologies to compete with the other rivals. Since, the Auto Expo 2018 is about to start and it is already started to grab attention of the car lovers towards the electric and hybrid vehicles which are ready to be unveiled for the Indian car market. Here, take a look at the top electric cars to be showcased in India at the platform of 2018 Auto Expo.
Hyundai Ioniq EV
As far we know, the auto expo will be main attraction point for the electric vehicles this year. And, to make their presence alive, every car maker planned to showcase their technology, Hyundai India is also all set to unveil the Ioniq electric car at the Auto Expo 2018. The company will debut this plug-in-hybrid model to put a great competition against the Toyota Camry hybrid.
Maruti e-Survivor EV
Maruti Suzuki will grab the attention of the car lovers with its 2-seater electric SUV. This concept car will look like the Gypsy and take the ground clearance from the Vitara Brezza for a better off-road experience. The car will have 2 electric motors to supply the power to its all 4-wheels. It is expected that the e-Survivor EV will undergo the production by 2020.
Tata Tiago EV
Tata Motors will unveil its Tiago EV hatchback at the auto expo, which is already showcased at the 2017 Cenex LCV show in the UK. It will be powered by a 85kW electric motor that delivers the 200Nm of the peak torque and quite able to run the car at the top speed notch of 135 km/h.
Mahindra Scorpio EV
Mahindra & Mahindra is planned to showcase a line-up of electric vehicles at the 2018 Auto Expo including the Scorpio EV, KUV 100 and others. Mahindra Electric Mobility's CEO (chief executive officer), Mahesh Babu said, "We will have three new products in the electric vehicle space) which will be high-performance ones."
Apart from these, there are so many electric vehicles to be unveiled at the motor show, which might be launched soon in India.
