Toyota Etios and Honda City CNG launch in Indonesia nearer
Launch of the compact sedan Toyota Etios, has been scheduled for Indonesian auto market. The compact sedan is expected to be launched at the 2013 Indonesian Motor Show that will be held in September or before the end of this year. It will be made available with only petrol engine. Features and specs for Indonesia launching Etios are now out and it will have a 1.5L power train under the hood which is mated to a 5 speed manual transmission.

PT Toyota which is official distributors and importers of Toyota cars in Indonesia will supply the sedan. In that market, the Etios sedan will be launched as elder sibling of Toyota Etios hatchback, which is called as the Etios Valco and loaded with a 1.2-liter engine. It is reported that Indonesian version of the vehicle will get the new updates like new ORVM, new front grill, new head and tail light and many more.

On the other hand, the Indonesian wing of Honda is considering about the launch of Honda City CNG in the car market. The dual fuel model of the hit sedan will be powered by a 1.5 Liter i-VTEC petrol engine generating out max power of 118 Bhp along with peak torque of 146 Nm. In Indian auto market the CNG version of City sedan is being offered with V MT trim and it is about 65000 rupees pricier than the petrol fuel run variant. It is claimed to cover a range of about 200 kilometers per tank of CNG. Meanwhile, the next generation version of the City sedan which is based in the platform of new Honda Jazz will be made available with both petrol and diesel engine models.
