Toyota Innova registered 73 per cent sales jump in October
Almost all car makers have enjoyed the car buying spree during the festive season this year. But some are more fortunate than others. Toyota Motors is one of them. Posting a net growth of 14 percent over the same period last year, the Japanese car maker sold 12,281 units of its cars this October. The notable factor in October sales is the spur in sales of Toyota Innova and Toyota Fortuner. These two cars received a growth of 73 percent and 81 percent respectively. This trend is quite inspiring as it was believed that the Maruti Ertiga and the latest launch of the Mahindra Quanto will prove to be a big spoilsport for the big MPV. But the sales trend has been very enthusiastic for the car maker.

Experts believe that the market is still in slumber and is soon to pick up and that is why there is a feeble buying in the last month. For Toyota, its best selling models Innova and Fortuner have proved to be a savior and has deterred it from registering a negative in the sales trend. In order to give a boost to sales, the car maker has introduced the TRD Sportivo models of Etios series and the Fortuner SUV and believes that these special edition will give a thrust to the sales this festive season.
