Toyota Innova units also be recalled by Toyota India

Just a day after country’s leading car manufacturing MSIL recalling more than 1 lakh units of its highly acclaimed vehicles Swift, Swift, Dzire due to fuel filler neck issure. Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) the Indian arm of Japanese car maker Toyota Motors has announced to recall about 44,989 units of MPV Innova which were manufactured from February 2005 to December 2008,  According to statement revealed by authentic sources of company the recall has been called out due to spiral cable which is integrated on the steering wheel.
 
The company sources revealed that as an impact of this issue the warning lamp of airbag mounted on instrument panel keeps on blinking continuously quite early before the actual emergence of problem, as an impact of which airbag may get deactivated.  The sources also added that at present company is searching for necessary parts which can be used for replacing the defected parts. As soon as company receives the required parts it will start contacting the customers to get their vehicles rectified by authorized dealer of company without paying any repair charges.

In the words of company sources company is going to contact about 6.58 million buyers of Innova throughout the world facing the problem in steering wheel and seats. According to industry sources this will be one of the biggest recalls of vehicles by any company in auto industry of world.
