Toyota joins hands of Microsoft for internet connectivity
Japanese auto giant Toyota Motors Corporation has established one more company under its flagship named as Toyota Connected Inc, which will work as a hub for different operations that are performed by car maker across the world and will benefit different segments of society. The sister concern of Toyota Motors has been headquartered in Texas, United States of America. The group will look after working of company’s future vision of offering clean, safe and convenient driving conditions to its customers. For this the car maker has joined hands of Microsoft and will use Microsoft’s Azure that will work as clouding platform offering solution for everything that Toyota finds difficult for enhancing the driving experience of its customers.

Informing about this new organisation Zack Hicks, the Chief Executive Officer of Toyota Connected and the Chief Information Officer at Toyota Motor North America said, Toyota Connected will help free our customers from the tyranny of technology. It will make lives easier and help us to return to our humanity". Moving ahead he also added "From telematics services that learn from your habits and preferences, to use-based insurance pricing models that respond to actual driving patterns, to connected vehicle networks that can share road condition and traffic information, our goal is to deliver services that make lives easier".
The collaboration of Toyota Motors with Microsoft will give new directions to company’s efforts for offering solutions for connecting its car with internet services. The new collaboration is expected to give new dimensions to partnership of Japanese car maker and Microsoft which started working together from 2011 to widen the use of technical development in cars.
