Toyota launches Innova Chrome Edition
Toyota India has successfully sold 4,00,000 units of the flagship MPV Toyota Innova and in addition to celebrate this sales mark, the company has launched Chrome Edition for the MPV. Within a period of one week, Toyota Innova Chrome Edition is the second new limited edition in the country after the launch of Maruti Swift RS limited edition. MSIL launched the Swift RS limited edition to celebrate the 1 million sales mark of the premium hatchback.

Toyota launched a chrome kit for the popular MPV Innova which is priced at Rs 31,000. It is specially offered for the GX variant of both petrol and diesel models. The chrome kit will be available at all Toyota dealerships across the country. Meanwhile, some of the accessories can also be mated to the top VX version. This kit includes front grille chrome garnish, chrome inserts in the bumper corner protectors, Chrome wheel arch moulding, chrome door handles, chrome muffler exhaust, chrome on the hatch lid, chrome surrounded turn indicator and chrome inserted, ORVMs.

Toyota will also launch the 2014 Innova by near future and it will come with major changes at exterior and interior. The current model of the vehicle is both diesel (2.5-litre D-4D engine) and petrol (2.0-litre) models and the newly launched kit is capable to give a premium image. At present, the Innova MPV is facing tough competition from Maruti Ertiga, Mahindra Quanto, Chevrolet Enjoy in domestic auto market.
