Toyota Launches Yaris 2019 Silently In The Indian Car Market
Toyota India has silently launched the upgraded version of its compact sedan Yaris in the Indian car market with the starting price tag of Rs. 8.65 lakh for the base version. The top end variant is priced Rs. 14.07 lakh. Both the prices are ex-showroom prices, India. The refreshed Toyota Yaris is launched in three new variants, namely J (Optional), G (Optional) and V(Optional) followed by existing J,G, V,as standard versions. The transmission duties in these newly introduced variants are performed by manual as well as automatic transmission system as an optional. Along with this the new Yaris is also offered with new dual-tone color option.
Under hood the 2019 Toyota Yaris continues to be offered with the same 1.5 litre, 4 cylinder petrol engine that churns the power of 107 bhp at 6,000 rpm and the torque of 140Nm at 4,200 rpm. The variants with manual gear transmission system are endorsed to offer the average of 17.1 kmpl whereas the CVT transmission variant is endorsed to offer an average of 17.8 kmpl. Both these figures are ARAI certified.
Well, speaking about the features that are offered in the newly introduced variants the dual tone color scheme is available on V(Optional) variant, and not on the first two variants. Other features that are offered in top end V (Optional) trim includes diamond cut alloy wheels, wing mirrors, blacked out grille, and leatherette seats. The regular V trim is upgraded with the seven inch touchscreen infotainment system, that was offered in VX trim of the first generation.
On the safety front, the 2019 Toyota Yaris is equipped with seven airbags, ABS+EBD+BA, vehicle stability control, front and rear parking sensors, hill start assist control, tyre pressure monitoring, seat belt reminder, front and rear fog lamps, high speed alerts, follow me home headlamps and many more. Along with this it also receives the plethora of comfort features likes roof mounted air conditioner vents with ambient lighting, eight way electrically adjustable drivers, cruise control, keyless smart entry, rear seat split in 60:40 ration and many more.
