Toyota ramped up the production to reduce new Innova and Fortuner waiting time
In the beginning of 2012, the Indian auto segment will see the introduction of renovated models of Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) Toyota Fortuner and Toyota Innova Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV). Though the Japan based auto major Toyota is prepared to launch its bestselling vehicles in a refreshed looks, and at same time is concerned about the reducing the waiting time of the current models.
Both of these vehicles have bombarded the rival models in their respective segments in terms of peaking sales and increasing booking orders. The existing Innova makes its consumer wait for around three to four months, whilst the brawny luxury off roader Fortuner queues its consumer for nearly six months.

But the present scenario will seek a change, as next year the Toyota MPV vehicle will hit the road, in that period the firm plans to increase its production by 50 percent at its Bengaluru based manufacturing plant; which has the present production capacity of rolling out nearly 4000 Innovas that will climb up to 6,000 units.

The interesting fact about related to production of Fortuner is that the SUV shares the platform of its MPV Innova; which will indirectly get its production more frequent and that will result in lessening of waiting period. And if this happens, it will provide another nightmare to the competitors as it will then scale new heights in terms of sales.
Toyota is working towards continuous improvement in terms of striving to make the product available to its consumer sooner after the booking and providing best in class after sales services for which the company is famous globally.
