Toyota records 89 percent growth
Toyota Kirloskar Motor, the joint venture of Toyota Motor Corporation and Kirloskar Group has reported the tremendous growth of the 89% for the month of January 2012. Company has celebrated the very first month of the year with total sales of 17, 395 units of cars, which was only 9, 187 units in previous year.
The brand new array of Toyota Etios sedan and motor racing cars has tasted the great success across the world with the sales of 8, 874 units, especially the Toyota Etios Liva with record sales of 4, 030 units. The exclusively launched new TToyota Fortuner and Toyota Innova have begun their journey with the outstanding sales of 6, 794 units & 941 units respectively, showcased & launched at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo.

The Toyota Corolla Altis has grabbed the good proportion of the market with the sales of 785 units. The Deputy Managing Director Marketing of Mr. Sandeep Singh has said that it is a successful beginning of the year. Company has received the huge positive response for the new Toyota Etios series, Toyota Innova and Toyota Fortuner.

The perfect production planning along with the boosted manufacturing capacity has enabled the company to serve the constantly increasing demand of the buyers in the last month. It is expected the Fortuner sales will get more decent hike in the upcoming months; company will increase its plant capacity from February onwards.
