Toyota to bring new sedan in Indian car market
After launching the all new Corolla Altis couple of days back in Indian car market, Japanese car maker Toyota Motors is anticipating to bring a new sedan in C-segment sometimes during next year in India. This segment will be launched to compete against the all new Honda City launched earlier this year and will fill the bridge between Etios and Corolla Altis.
It would be interested to know that still nothing has been so far disclosed by the car maker but the market has starting getting hot with different speculations, there are some who say that it will be Vios sedan while there are some who strongly endorse that the new sedan will be based on the same platform on which its elder sibling Etios is developed. There is one more speculation that will be based on platform used on developing the sedans of B segment carrying the same engine configurations and gearbox options but with automatic gearbox system. Apart from this it will also carry most of its features offered in B segments of sedan which after launch will also be introduced in Etios as its facelift version.
