Toyota To Showcase Yaris Sedan During Indian Auto Expo 2018
It is rumored that the Japanese car maker Toyota Motors is readying to showcase it new c-segment sedan Yaris during the upcoming Indian Auto Expo 2018. According to reports the prototype of sedan was caught undergoing the test drive by the spies recently for the first time on Indian roads. It is reported that after showcase during the Auto Expo the Japanese car maker is speculating to launch the same in the Indian car market on May 17, 2018. After launch in the Indian car market the sedan will fight against Maruti Szuki Ciaz and Honda City.
Talking about the engine configuration it is reported to be offered with 1.2 litre petrol engine that will be capable of boosting the power of 87 bhp with transmission duty performed by six speed manual gear transmission system followed with the option of CVT automatic gearbox. It is also believed that going through the trend of Indian car market the car maker might also introduce the 1.4 litre D4D engine.
On the exterior front the Yaris outsources its styling from its sibling Corolla, in form of V-shaped front grille, coupe shaped roofline, round shaped fog lamps, LED DRLs, projector headlamps with LED lights, LED wrap around tail lamps, 16 inch alloy wheels, shark fin antenna and many more. It will be offered with the color options of Super White II, Silver Metallic, Red Mica Mettalic, Attitude Black Mica Citrus, Orange Metallic and Grey Metallic.
On the interior front it will be embellished with black colored dashboard with silver lining across the centre console and air conditioner vents, seven inch touchscreen infotainment system rear view camera, automatic climate control, engine on/off button are few highlights. On the safety front it will be equipped with ABS+EBD, seven airbags, brake assist system, and stability control and traction control system as standard features.
