Toyota to upgrade its technology by investing $50 million in next five years

With an objective to provide comfort driving experience to car drivers Japanese car maker Toyota Motors has announced to invest $ 50 million (INR about Rs. 333 crores) in collaboration with Stanford University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology for equipping its upcoming products with latest technical features. According to announcement made by company in this regard this investment by company would be made during next five years at its research centers located at Silicon Valley and Massachusetts institute located at Cambridge.
 
To implement this strategy in proper direction Japanese car maker has acquired the services of technical maven Gill Pratt who will look after the chances of integrating new technical features in forthcoming cars minimizing the actions performed by humans while driving their vehicle. Addressing the event  Mr.  Kiyotaka Ise, Company Executive who look after company’s overseas research and development activities said that introduction of new technical features will enhance driving experience of drivers by offering them complete safety and freedom while driving in congested areas. 
 
It would be interested to know that where its contenders are focusing on enhancing the features of upcoming self driving car, Japanese car maker is interested in making the cars your trusted assistant on which you can rely blindly. This intelligent assistant will realize the driving conditions according to traffic conditions existing on road and will even entertain driver by playing his favorite song when it will recognize that mood of his master is not good.
