Toyota Unveils C-HR SUV At Bangkok International Motor Show
After making the successful entrance in the Japanese and global market the C-HR SUV from the Japanese car maker Toyota Motors Corporation has made its entrance in the 40th Edition of the Bangkok International Motor Show. The production concept of the SUV was showcased back in 2017 during the Paris Motor Show after which it was launched in the home country, where it succeeded in receiving an encouraging response from the Japanese buyers. It is developed on the lightweight modular TNGA platform and will compete against Honda HR-V and Nissan Juke in the international market.

It is believed that the SUV might be also launched soon in the Indian car market, as the spies have already captured a few images of the SUV being tested on the Indian roads. However, the Indian version of C-HR SUV might undergo some cosmetic changes as the Japanese carmaker is focusing on its collaboration with the Indo-Japanese car maker Maruti Suzuki India Limited for exploring reach in the SUV segment.

Mechanically, the standard unit of the C-HR SUV is empowered with 2.0 litre turbocharged petrol engine that makes the power of 142 bhp and mated with a CVT automatic transmission system. But, along with this the company is also offering the same with an option of 1.8 litre petrol engine merged with an electric motor, and 1.2 litre petrol/hybrid version in some of the international markets. Dimensionally it has the length of 4,360mm, width of 1,795mm, height of 1,550mm and the wheelbase of 2,640mm. The roofline carries the coupe-like appeal, whereas the rear and front portion adorn an aggressive appearance. With a muscular body the SUV would be offered with various color combinations with a dual-tone option.

On the interior front, it will be equipped with a plethora of driver assistance and safety features. The major being eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports connectivity with a host of the option, Toyota Safety Sense P suite with the Pedestrian warning system and many more.
