Toyota unveils Etios Cross in Indian Auto Expo 2014
Toyota Kirloskar Motors, the Indian arm of Japanese car maker Toyota Motors today unveiled its highly awaited Toyota Etios Cross in ongoing Indian Auto Expo 2014. The same vehicle was unveiled in Brazil last year. It has will be offered in both petrol and diesel variants. The petrol variant will be offered in two engine options of 1.2 litre developing the power of 79 bhp and torque of 104 Nm and and 1.5 litre petrol engine churning the power of 89 bhp and torque of 132 Nm. The diesel variant will be offered with 1.4 litre D-4D diesel engine generating the power of 67 bhp and torque of 170 Nm.
Physically Etios Cross measures 3895mm in length, 1735mm in width and 1555mm in height. The ground clearance measures about 170 mm whereas measurement of wheelbase measures to 2,460 mm. It is bestowed with 15 inches, 10 spoke alloy wheels, rear spoiler, roof rails, bumper guard and newly designed fog lamps. The interiors receive black colored dashboard with chrome garnish, adjustable headrests. It is also blessed with sufficient safety measures including two air bags, ABS+EBD. The power to front wheels is forwarded through five speed manual transmission system.
