Two new cars till 2020 by Tata Motors
Domestic car making company Tata Motors has revealed its future plans. This was announced by Mr. Girish Wagh, Senior, Vice-President, Program Planning and Project Management, Tata Motors at the launch of their new compact sedan Zest recently. In the words of Mr. Wagh apart from launching the refreshed and upgraded versions of its existing vehicles the company will also launch the new products targeting the new segment of buyers. According to Mr. Wagh, company has developed a planned document regarding the new products which would be developed on new platforms and replacing some of the old products from its pipeline. The new product to be introduced by company during this year after recent launch of Zest would be bolt hatchback which is expected to make its debut during the upcoming festive season.

From many years the domestic car maker has been mainly developing SUV’s like Sumo and Safari, however apart from this during last couple of year the car maker has also switched towards other types of vehicles keeping in concern the shifting taste of buyers. Commenting on this Mr. Wagh said that although the car maker is developing vehicles for different segments in current scenario but then also it will not shift from its conventional product line up of SUVs and will continue working on this segment also. As it is known that apart from showcasing its compact sedan Zest launched recently and upcoming hatchback Bolt, the car maker had also revealed the Nexon Concept, which would be used in its first forth coming crossover.
It would be interested to learn that apart from exploring its existing product line-up in coming years, company is also working on improving the quality of its vehicles along with satisfying various after sales requirements of its customers. Company recent launch Zest has been offered with warranty of three years or 45,000 kms drive whichever happens earlier followed by 24x7 road side assistance for three years.
