Un-camouflaged Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS Spied Before Launch
Maruti Suzuki Baleno RS, the sportier version of the best selling hatchback Baleno from country’s leading car maker MSIL which earlier was slated for launch during the festive season last year is now reported to make its debut in Indian car market on March 3, 2017. The reports also reveal that spies have spotted the un-covered version of the same being tested on Indian roads ahead of its launch.
Talking about the changes that would be offered in RS version of Baleno, it is reported to continue with the same design but includes bunch of iteration in form of newly developed front bumper, sportier body skirts, wide tyres, sportier body skirts and RS logo. Inside, the cabin it will sport infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Car Play followed by flat bottom sportier steering wheel. Apart from this the Baleno RS is reported to come up with same existing interior features. As far as safety features it is said to continue with existing safety features along with disc braking system offered on all four wheels.
As far as mechanical changes are concerned the Baleno RS will sport 998cc – three cylinder turbocharged Boosterjet petrol engine that is capable of boosting the power of 101 bhp and torque of 150 Nm and will be mated five speed manual gearbox system. As far as pricing of Baleno RS is considered it is reported to be offered with price tag of Rs. 8 lakh onwards and will compete with Fiat Punto Abarth and Volkswagen Polo GT TSI.Moving towards additional changes that will be offered in Baleno RS are concerned it is reported to be offered with fascinating color option.
