Uncovered Hyundai Creta spied, Images appear online
Scheduled for launch on July 21, 2015 in Indian car market, Hyundai Creta from Korean car maker has been caught un-camouflaged being tested on Indian roads and the images of same have appear on different websites giving the clear idea about the looks of this first ever SUV from Hyundai. As reported earlier HMIL has commenced the production of Creta at its production unit located at Chennai from June 20, 2015.
Reported to be launched in both petrol and diesel trims with three engine options of 1.4- and 1.6-liter diesel engines followed by 1.6-liter VTVT petrol. The diesel trim would be offered with six speed manual transmission system along with petrol engine coated with five speed manual gear box. Both the engine configurations are said to be carried from Verna sedan. The SUV is developed on ix25 platform that is being sold in Chinese car market.
According to reports after launch in Indian car market the SUV would be introduce in global car market including countries of European, African, Australian and South East Asian continents along with USA depending upon the demand of same in American car market. With aggressive front fascia, spacious cabin and sportier rear, Hyundai Creta after launch will compete against Renault Duster and Mahindra Scorpio.
