Upcoming cars in India: More than 30 cars coming in 2013

Indian car market is one of the most flourishing one in the world today and several national and international car makers are counting in to launch their vehicles here. After a decent 2012, 2013 will be witnessing many exclusive car launches, which would come from car makers like Ford, Skoda, Jeep, Maruti, BMW and many more. Let’s see what all cars are ready to bring joy to your life next year!

1.Ford EcoSport

This one is one of the most awaited SUVs in 2013. The car is expected to be rolled out in India in the first quarter of 2013. The price tag attached to it will land around Rs. 9 lakh or so, while the 1.0 litre of EcoBoost petrol engine will help the car in delivering high class mileage of 16kmpl. The impressive looks, with numerous comfort features inside are the major highlighting features here.  

2.Chevrolet Sail Sedan

Chevrolet Sail Sedan is likely to be launched in India in February 2013 with a price of Rs. 6 lakh approximately. Under the bonnet, the car will be offered with two engines, 1.2 litre and 1.4 litre that would comfortably give out fuel economy of around 17.5kmpl. The main features of this sedan comprise of superbly styled interiors with traits like power steering, power windows, advanced music system etc.  

3.Honda Amaze

Of late, Honda launched Honda Amaze in Thailand and this one is going to be launched here in April next year, with an affordable price tag of Rs. 7.6 lakh. With Amaze, company will bring in the 1.5 litre diesel engine to India that belongs to Honda’s Earth Dream Project. This engine will deliver swanky mileage of 25kmpl. The main features here would comprise of 2-DIN audio system, ABS, EBD, and better ride and handling quality.

 

4.Mahindra Reva E20

This will join the electric vehicle league in India. Mahindra Reva E20 would come with 48-volt, 29kw electric motor, which will be thoroughly fuel efficient. The car will come a bit pricey as you will have to shed about Rs. 6 lakh to bring this one home. The highlighting feature of E20 will be roomier interiors as compared to its older model. 

5.Chevrolet Enjoy

General Motors will bring in its MPV, Chevrolet Enjoy to India in early next year with an affordable price of Rs. 6 to 8 lakh. On the engine front, the car will be blessed with two engine options, 1.4L petrol and 1.3L diesel. The petrol version will deliver 16kmpl of fuel economy, while the diesel variant will give out 21kmpl of mileage. The highlighting features in Enjoy MPV would comprise of spacious seating arrangement, GPS navigation system, efficient AC etc.

6.Maruti XA Alpha

Maruti Suzuki India will bring XA Alpha in mid of 2013. The 1.3L multi-jet diesel engine will be powering this SUV that would promise to deliver superior mileage. The approximate price of Maruti XA Alpha is around Rs. 7 lakh, making it not heavy on pocket. The sporty exteriors coupled with elegant interiors make it further more exciting and thrilling.  

7.Mahindra Verito CS

Mahindra and Mahindra will launch Mahindra Verito CS in the March 2013. This will come under sub 4-meter category and it will lead to fewer prices than the ongoing model. The approximate price tag of Verito CS is likely to be around Rs. 6 to 8 lakh. Under the bonnet, 1.4litre petrol engine will be on duty, which will make the car deliver decent mileage figures. The main features here would be ample of boot storage with many comfort features on the inside.  

8.Tata Nano CNG

Tata Motors will enhance its Nano range with Tata Nano CNG next year. The car will be launched in mid of 2013 with an expected price tag that is 30% higher than the current one. Under the bonnet, the 624cc (Petrol + CNG) engine will be on duty that will make the car give out mileage more than 25kmpl. The cute looks, with basic comfort features will turn this car more viable.  

9.Tata Nano Diesel

Joining the diesel car league would be Tata Nano Diesel. The car will be launched in India in first quarter of 2013 with a decent price tag of Rs. 2 to 2.5 lakh. The 0.8litre diesel engine will be fuel efficient and give out 28 to 33kmpl of whopping mileage. This figure is expected to make Tata Nano diesel one of the most successful small cars in town.  

10.Skoda Octavia

2013 Skoda Octavia will hit the Indian shores in January next year. The main highlight of this one is its spacious interiors. The car is likely to be more spacious than the current Laura available in the market. The car is expected to be launched in four diesel and four petrol engine comprising of 1.2 litre of TSI engine, whereas the diesel variants will have the 1.6 litre of TDI motor. The mileage would be impressive as well.

11.Jeep Wrangler

Fiat will bring in Jeep Wrangler to Indian Car bazaar in mid of 2013 with a massive price tag of Rs. 22 to 24 lakh. The V6 3798cc petrol engine will be installed under the hood that would make the car give out an average mileage. This lifestyle SUV will be coming with great driving dynamics accompanied by smart exteriors.  

12.Jeep Patriot

Along with Jeep Wrangler, Fiat will also launch Jeep Patriot in India in 2013. What will take your heart away in Jeep Patriot will be its superb performance and utter comfort for the occupants. The car will be priced for Rs. 8.37 lakh approximately. Under the bonnet, the car is expected to be blessed with 2.2 litre that will deliver a humble mileage figure. The excellent off-road capabilities with high class interiors will make Patriot quite interesting.  

13.Jeep Grand Cherokee

Jeep Grand Cherokee will be coming to India by early 2013. The price tag attached to it will be as hefty as Rs. 40 lakh. The 3.0 litre V6 engine fitted inside will be making the performance of car brilliant. The mileage figures that will be delivered are not expected to be high, but average for a luxury vehicle like Cherokee. This all-drive vehicle will steal the show with its luxury along with driving abilities.

 14.Jeep Compass

Joining Grand Cherokee, Jeep Compass will also be launched in early 2013, with a massive price tag of around Rs. 8.42 to 11 lakh. This one will be installed with two engine options, 2.2L and 2.4L. Both of them promise to give out decent mileage. The specialty in Compass will be its inspiring design, spacious and lavish interiors, and superior driving performance.

 15.Volkswagen Tiguan

 Volkswagen Tiguan is expected to arrive in India by late 2013 or early 2014. This is based on VW UP! And will be powered by 1.0 litre petrol engine that would make the car deliver 21kmpl. The price of Tiguan will be around Rs. 9 lakh. Its lavish interiors with sporty exteriors will make it very different and adorable in the VW Indian portfolio.

16.Ashok Leyland Stile

Ashok Leyland Stile will hit the Indian shores by mid 2013. This MUV will be competing with Maruti Ertiga and Nissan Evalia. Under the bonnet, 1461cc of diesel engine will make it proud and will allow it to deliver superior fuel efficiency. The price tag attached to it is likely to be around Rs. 6-9 lakh. The sliding windows with reverse parking camera will be the major highlights of the car.  

17.Hyundai HexaSpace

Another competition to Maruti Ertiga in 2013 will be Hyundai HexaSpace. This one will come with 1.2 litre turbocharged engine coupled with 6-speed automatic transmission. Mileage figures will not be disappointing.  The unique seating arrangement inside will be the major highlights of the car. The fluidic design, which is a signature of Hyundai, will also be seen here. The approximate price HexaSpace will be Rs. 10-12 lakh.  

18.Nissan Duster

After seeing the huge success of Renault Duster, Nissan is ready to make an SUV based on Duster. Nissan Duster is expected to be launched by the end of 2013. Under the bonnet, the car will come with 1.5 litre of K9K diesel motor that will make the car deliver impressive mileage. The price tag of Nissan Duster SUV will be similar to that of Renault Duster. The looks are expected to be different and more alluring than Renault Duster SUV. However as the tradition in the Nissan and Renault cars on the same platform, the Nissan Duster will be getting a unique name replacing Duster.

19. New BMW X1

BMW India will bring in the refreshed version of BMW X1 SUV next year. The car will be reworked in terms of its exteriors to make it look more attractive and sportier than ever. The engine option will not be changed and it will still come with 1995cc diesel engine delivering high mileage of 15kmpl. The facelift will certainly increase the price of model and make it a bit heavier on your pocket.  

20. New BMW 7 Series

BMW India will also bring in the face-lifted version of BMW 7 Series by the end of 2013. This will be seen with a heavy price tag of around Rs. 41 to 78 lakh. Under the hood, it will be powered by 3.0 litre of engine that would push it to deliver some decent mileage figures. The exteriors will be completely enhanced, which would make it more good-looking and alluring.

21. Volvo V40 Crossover

Volvo V40 Crossover will be brought to Indian car bazaar in March 2013 with a price tag of Rs. 25 to 30 lakh approximately. This modish five door car will make you lure through its chic looks and superior interiors. Under the hood, it will be featuring 2.0 litre D3 engine that would facilitate the car to deliver humble fuel economy.

22. BMW 1 Series

The BMW 1 Series will be rolled out in the Indian car bazaar by mid 2013. The company has reworked the car in terms of its interiors and exteriors. A little nip and tuck here and there has made the charm of BMW 1 Series much more amplified and better. The car is expected to come in two engine options, 1.6 litre petrol and 2.0 diesel units. Both of them promise to deliver good mileage figures. As far as the price is concerned, it might go off the chart with Rs. 15 lakh price tag.

 23. Mercedes Benz A Class

Mercedes Benz will bring in Mercedes Benz A Class to India in 2013 that would adorn the Indian portfolio of the car. This will come fitted with a strong engine producing good power and delivering decent mileage. The fancy looks and inspiring interiors would make it further more thrilling. The price tag attached to it will land around Rs. 16.7 lakh.
 

24. Mercedes Benz E Class
 

The 2013 will also make Mercedes Benz launch the new Mercedes Benz E Class. This will be launch by the first half of 2013 and has made many changes on the outside to make the car furthermore appealing and imposing. The interiors are also worked upon thoroughly. The engine inside is 2.2 litre petrol, which will allow it to deliver decent mileage.

25. Audi A3

Audi India is expected to bring in all new Audi A3 to the Indian car bazaar in mid of 2013. The car will be sporting 1.4 TFSI petrol engine and 2.0 litre diesel engine. Both will be delivering decent mileage figures making them totally powerful and top-notch performer. The sporty appearance will be the main highlight in the car, while the interiors have also been reworked. Talking about the price, the car will come with Rs. 17.25 lakh price tag, making it pricy and very fancy.
