Volkswagen Fox BlueMotion lands on Brazilian shores
Recently, the Brazilian auto-market has witnessed the unwrapping of Volkswagen car, named Volkswagen Fox BlueMotion. Regarded as the master of fuel efficiency, this mean machine has got the BlueMotion badge and is equipped with a powerful 1.6 liter 4-cylinder 8 valve engine that runs on both gas and ethanol. In addition, this car has got fabulous aerodynamics with a great craftwork on grille and bumper that gives it a fluidic appearance.
Besides this, Volkswagen Fox is installed with low rolling resistance tyres. Earlier, the German automobile unit decided to equip this car with an automatic start/stop system but concerning the pricing of this car, they did not install it with this feature. Volkswagen has given the name BlueMotion to the technology that represents the commendable fuel efficiency. The color Blue is VW’s official color and the word Motion signifies mobility.
This new Volkswagen contemporary machine has been designed and manufactured by the company’s subsidiary in Brazil. Furthermore, this two-box is based on the PQ24 platform and was first launched in 2004. So far, this car is been sold in the South American and European sub-continents. In comparison to the old sibling the Fox, the Fox BlueMotion is bit costly, but its improved fuel efficiency justifies its cost.
