Volkswagen India to Sale Cars Also From CPC Canteen

Volkswagen India, the Indian alliance of German car maker Volkswagen has said that from now onwards the cars manufactured by the company will also be sold through all Master and Subsidiary canteens that are operating under Central Police Canteen. According to the sources of company all the Central Armed Police Forces Personnel comprising of BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB and Assam Rifles) and the employees of Central Security Agencies (RPF, IB, SPG, NCRB, NIA and employees of all State Police Organizations) will be able to buy any of the Volkswagen cars from the CPC Canteen along with additional benefits in form of priority in delivery, reduction in taxes. This scheme will however be allowed in selected states and also some specific offers for customers.
 
Commenting on this Mr. Michael Mayer, Director, Volkswagen Passenger Car India, said, “Extending our product offerings to the security personnel through the CPC, is another milestone in our commitment towards providing customers with the option to choose one of the safest cars available in India. With our extensive product portfolio, we offer robust engineering, safety and a memorable driving experience for our customers”.
 
There are about 119 Master Canteens and more than 1500 Subsidiary Canteens throughout the country being operated by Central Police Canteen. Along with existing range of Polo, Vento, Jetta, Beetle and GTI in India, the armed personal will also be able to buy the newly launched compact sedan Ameo from this network. Launched back in June 2016, the Ameo compact sedan from German car maker has been a game changer for company in Indian car market and succeeded in receiving an overwhelming response from buyers. Moreover, the success of Ameo can also be understood from the fact that company is now going to bring its diesel variant soon in India.
