Volkswagen India welcomes Arvind Saxena as the new MD

Volkswagen India has recently appointed Arvind Saxena as its new Managing director. Mr. Saxena has an experience of more than 30 years. He will be taking under control the sales and marketing segment of Volkswagen India. He was earlier the director of sales and marketing in Hyundai Motors India. Mr. Saxena is certainly delighted to be a part of VW group and is looking forward to the new challenges and opportunities that Volkswagen has to offer to him.

Volkswagen India has been in the country since a long time now. It has been offering some very interesting and practical cars. It has been giving a very tough competition to companies like Maruti Suzuki India, Ford India, Hyundai India, and Honda Motors and so on. VW India has always believed in offering high quality cars that are not only loaded with numerous features but are also available at a very competitive price tag.

Its cars like Volkswagen Polo, Volkswagen Jetta, Volkswagen Passant and Volkswagen Vento are some of the most popular models in the Indian car bazaar. Its hatchback, VW Polo has fetched a lot of revenue to the firm and made VW to establish more in the Indian car market.

Recently, reports in the market mentioned that Volkswagen Polo based crossover will also be launched in India. However, the car will come by the year of 2014. Also there are chances that Volkswagen Up might also be brought to the Indian car bazaar.
