Volkswagen launches Vento Diesel Comfortline at Rs 8.74 lakh
The Indian unit of the leading German car maker Volkswagen has further enhanced the variant range of its popular mid-size sedan Volkswagen Vento in the Indian car market. The company launched all new Vento Diesel Comfortline in the country on Monday with a price tag of Rs.8.74 lakhs (ex showroom price across the country except Maharashtra where price tag is Rs. 8.56 lakhs). With the addition of Comfortline variant in the line-up, the Vento diesel now has three trims in the market including Trendline, Comfortline and Highline variants.

The company has offered a number of features with the Comfortline variant in addition to the features of Trendline. The mirrors and door handles are in body color and the outside rearview mirror is now electrically adjustable. The additional comfort, convenience and entertainment features of the car include music system with CD / MP3 / FM radio player, center arm rest at the rear seat, front and rear fog light, height adjustable driver seat.

It is to be mentioned here that since its launch in the country, Volkswagen Vento has been receiving a very good response from the Indian buyers. The car is giving a tough fight to its competitors like Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Fiat Linea, Ford Fiesta and Maruti SX4. Speaking to the reporters on the launch of new Comfortline variant, Volkswagen Passenger Cars’ Member of Board & Director, Mr. Neeraj Garg said that the company has been receiving huge customer’s requests for the mid level trim line variant.
