Volkswagen Polo SR launched in India for Rs. 6.37 lakh

Volkswagen India has amplified its Polo range with another variant, called Volkswagen Polo SR hatchback. This one is very sporty and athletic. The car has arrived in India with a price tag of Rs. 6.27 lakh. This new Sporty VW Polo SR variant has been enhanced big time on the outside. The first look to the car could make you utter words like ‘Mean and Sporty’. On the outside you will notice the strong and stylish rear roof spoiler, side skirts, new front and rear bumper inserts, chrome exhaust, large and athletic 15 inches of alloy wheels, rear parking sensors and Polo SR badge on the boot lid.

On the other hand, the interiors of the car are also augmented with the presence of tilt-telescopic adjustable power steering with audio controls mounted on it, new RCD 320 music system that has Bluetooth and USB connectivity, proficient air conditioning system with climate control function, and multi functional display. The company has taken care of the safety of the occupants and provided the new Volkswagen Polo SR variant with twin SRS airbags for the driver and front co-passenger along with Anti-Lock Braking System and Electronic brake Force Distribution system that averts skidding of the car on roads.

Talking about the tech specs, the car kept the engine specifications same as before. Therefore this sporty Polo SR has been fitted with the 1.2-Litre 3-cylinder petrol engine, which is capable of producing maximum power output of 75BHP along with generating maximum torque of 110Nm. The standard five-speed manual gearbox is present here, which allows the car to perform decently on roads. The mileage delivery of this variant is the same and manages to deliver a fuel economy of 16.27 kmpl.
