Volkswagen releases images of its upcoming Hybrid SUV
Following the trend of launching SUV’s by renowned car makers, German car maker Volkswagen is also going to mark its presence in segment with a new SUV which is speculated to be plug in hybrid and is expected to strengthen the position of car in this segment. According to recent reports company has revealed the images of same before the organization of Beijing Motor Show 2016 slated to commence from April 25, 2016. The reports also reveal that during the show only conceptual version of this SUV will be showcased after which it will go for production and will be named as Touareg.

Before discussing the features that are revealed in pictures let us have look to the power train which would be adorned in this proposed SUV. It is reported to be empowered with electronic motor that will churn the power of 376 bhp and torque of 699 Nm. With the top notch of 223 km/h the SUV will be capable of picking the speed of 100 km/h from zero in the span of six seconds. Talking about the pictures disclosed by car maker it is witnessed that front fascia will be embellish additional use of LED lights which are extended upto the front grille. The front bumper also witnesses integration of LED DRLs at its edges giving it a personal appearance.

Marking of sharp lines can also be witnessed on the side profile of the vehicle. Apart from this the SUV will also bestows extra inputs on front bumper, muscular bonnet, roof rails, etc. Although additional features are yet to be revealed by car maker in coming days, it is seen to be equipped with active info display merged with infotainment system thus indicating that SUV will come loaded with fully digital and customized instrument cluster which is same as Audi’s 12.3 inch virtual cockpit.
